Atlas AIT Analogue Input Terminator RCA Input shields are essential passive accessories to use with any Hi-fi system. They help to reduce the paths to noise ingression or transference which result in reduced noise interference. The result of this is that background noise is minimised and fidelity is enhanced.
Pollutant Prevention
When the analogue input ports on a pre or integrated amplifier are not in use, they can act as a duct for interference that pollutes the noise quality. To prevent these pollutants, Atlas have developed a simple yet efficient solution in the form of their Analogue Input Terminators.
How To Use
To set up with your amplifier (integrated or pre), you need to plug the terminators into an unused input RCA phono socket. Make sure you don't use the outputs. After this is complete, the unused inputs on your amplifier will now be set up to be resistant to interference and will have an ultra low noise mode activated to provide improved sound quality.
