Atlas Equator Metik 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable is based on Atlas’ well-acclaimed Equator interconnect cable with it’s similar build, components and improvement of audio signal transfer.
Why the Equator Matik 3.5mm to 3.5mm?
The Equator Metik has been specifically designed to deliver audiophile grade performance for the increasing demand in 3.5mm outputs on home cinema systems due to the popular use of ‘dual purpose’ personal audio devices.
OFC Conductors
Atlas’ Equator Metik 3.5mm cable has four central multi-core conductors made up of two identical pairs of oxygen free copper wires within a single-shielded outer cover, rather than separate cables for left & right channels.
PTFE Insulation
The Equator Metik features precision copper alloy contacts with a PTFE dielectric to prevent interference from affecting the audio quality.
Jack Plugs
Like all of the Metik range cables, solder-free cold-weld jack plugs are used to deliver a class-leading continuous signal path performance, which is also found in Atlas’ Achromatic and Ultra RCA connectors. These are superior to conventional jack plugs as they typically have a degraded audio signal due to the low-grade components.
