Audio Technica ATH-ADX5000 is a new reference headphone model incorporating a dynamic open-back design with coherent airflow Core Mount technology for a wide and spacious audio reproduction.
Driver Assembly
An enlarged 58mm driver design is incorporated that employs a Permendur Magnetic Circuit in a baffle to optimally remove unwanted vibration. This drive unit is paired with a diaphragm coated in Tungsten which improves transient response through offering greater rigidity. All of this is housed in a honeycomb-punched structure that does not use side ventilation to prevent unwanted air pressure loss from within.
