Why the Audiolab DC Block?
Although it is compact, a DC signal within a mains current can impact the audio quality with irritating hum and noise. This happens when the DC current becomes saturated upon entering a Toroidal power transfer, in turn, this makes the transformer far less efficient, creating vibrations that disturb the audio quality. By using the Audiolab DC Block Direct Current Blocker, efficiency is restored and any unwanted noise or mechanical hum is kept to a minimum.
