Canton is a family-owned German loudspeaker brand founded in October 1972 with aim to bring the best sound in to homes. Founder Günther Seitz and his son and business partner Achim Seitz intend to keep Canton a family business.

Headquartered in Weilrod, Germany, the company has its own in-house development center where Frank Göbl and his team use state-of-the-art technology and high-quality materials to hone the perfect sound.

From the first computer simulation to the final surface finish, Canton continuously look for ways to match the music even more closely to homes. One of their recent technical innovations is the wave surround.
