XLPE Dielectric
The Leyline 4X speaker cable has been made with Chords XLPE dielectric, which is designed to improve the more commonly used PVC. Chord has implemented this type of cable in their flagship products SarumT and ChordMusic speaker cables and intend to use it in many others.
Leyline Platform
Chord worked to build upon the Leyline platform, aiming to bring the advantages of XLPE technology to the Layline 4X. Additionally, the cable has been meter-marked for a more easy installation and comes with an EN50575 DCA-S2, D2, A1 CPR rating.
