Description

The Entreq Protectus Chassis Grounding Platform has been developed to tackle two of the biggest obstacles to ultimate hi-fi performance: mechanical vibration and high-frequency electrical noise.

Rather than relying on conventional isolation feet that support a component at only a few contact points, Protectus uses its entire surface to support your equipment, creating a far more effective foundation for vibration management. Designed for serious audiophiles, it combines advanced mechanical damping with Entreq's renowned grounding technology to provide a dual-purpose solution that enhances virtually every aspect of musical performance.

By reducing unwanted resonances while simultaneously draining high-frequency electrical contamination from your equipment's chassis, Protectus allows your components to perform with greater precision, lower noise and increased realism. The result is a more natural, engaging and immersive listening experience that benefits every source component, amplifier or digital device placed upon it.

Advanced Construction with Tungsten Inside Technology

Every Entreq Protectus Chassis Grounding Platform is carefully engineered using multiple layers of cross-laminated timber, selected for their excellent structural stability and acoustic properties. Within these layers are precisely positioned internal cavities that are filled with specially selected metal spheres of varying sizes and materials.

As unwanted mechanical energy enters the platform, these spheres convert vibration into minute amounts of heat, effectively dissipating resonances before they can influence the sensitive electronics above. At the same time, the interaction between the connected metals generates subtle galvanic currents that create a controlled magnetic field, helping to influence and stabilise the electromagnetic environment surrounding the component.

Combined with Entreq's proven Tungsten Inside technology, this sophisticated design delivers improvements in clarity, focus and overall musical coherence while maintaining a completely passive method of operation.

Chassis Grounding for Lower System Noise

One of the defining features of the Entreq Protectus Chassis Grounding Platform is its ability to combine mechanical isolation with active chassis grounding. Each platform is supplied with a dedicated Eartha grounding cable featuring a hook connection for the Protectus itself and a specially designed connector that attaches directly to the chassis of your audio component.

Once connected, the platform becomes an attractive destination for high-frequency electrical contamination and micro-vibrations generated within the equipment. Rather than allowing these unwanted energies to circulate through the chassis, they are continuously drawn away into the Protectus, lowering the overall electrical noise floor of the system.

This constant flow helps reveal greater low-level detail, improved dynamics, enhanced tonal purity and a noticeably darker, quieter background from which the music can naturally emerge.

Tailored Performance for Every System

The Entreq Protectus Chassis Grounding Platform is available in three performance levels and multiple sizes, allowing users to select the ideal model for their equipment and installation. The physical dimensions determine the surface area available for supporting different components, while the performance level corresponds to the weight capacity and internal construction required for heavier equipment.

Level 1 models are suitable for components weighing up to 100kg, Level 2 supports equipment up to 150kg, while the flagship Level 3 versions comfortably accommodate components weighing as much as 250kg.

This flexible range ensures that everything from source components and DACs to large power amplifiers can benefit from the same advanced vibration control and grounding technology. Selecting the correct model allows the platform to deliver its full potential regardless of the system configuration.

The Normal Size has a depth of 390mm, the large comes in at 490mm and the extra large comes in at 590mm

Unlock the Full Potential of Your Hi-Fi System

The Entreq Protectus Chassis Grounding Platform offers far more than conventional equipment support by combining sophisticated resonance control with Entreq's highly regarded chassis grounding philosophy.

As mechanical vibration is reduced and high-frequency electrical interference is continuously drained away, listeners often experience greater transparency, improved soundstage depth, more stable imaging and enhanced dynamic expression across every recording.

Instruments become more naturally separated, vocals gain increased realism and subtle musical textures are revealed with greater ease. Because Protectus operates entirely passively, these improvements are achieved without introducing any unwanted colouration or artificial processing.

Whether used as part of a complete Entreq grounding system or as a standalone upgrade, Protectus provides an elegant and highly effective solution for extracting more performance from high-quality audio equipment while preserving the natural musicality that defines exceptional hi-fi reproduction.
