Grado GS1000x headphones replace the GS1000e and feature several updates to improve these excellent headphones. GS1000e were already one of the best headphones we’d heard at this level, the “x” improvements open them up even more.
X Upgrades
The biggest upgrade to the GS1000X is the use of the all new X series driver that are uniquely tuned to bring out the warm undertones that mahogany brings you. Each earcup features a single 50mm driver with a improved magnetic circuit, voice coil and a reconfigured diaphragm that when combined achieve a whole new level of audio enjoyment.
Comfort Without Compromise
Grado has always set the bar extremely high for their headphones and with the new GS1000X this is not an exception to the rule. With an all new headband construction and pads that extenuate the sound quality, it makes the new GS1000X a standard bearer in its class.
