Description
Grado RS2x has been redesigned completely to complement the maple housing sleeves and ring, and the hemp core that keeps everything together. Grado chooses maple and hemp wood for its warm tonal abilities.
Signature Sound
Music you have heard a hundred times will sound like new. The Grado RS2x will draw you in immediately as the housing and driver works together to react to vibrations to reduce transient distortions. Grado’s special processes paired with the wood creates a sound that is rich and full-bodied.
X Series Drivers
Grado utilises new 4th gen X drivers in the RS2x. Featuring a new speaker design that utilises a more powerful magnetic circuit, a reconfigured diaphragm and a voice coil with reduced effective mass.
New Cable & Headbands
Not only the speakers have been redesigned, but the cables and headband has been redesigned for the RS2x. Now housed in a more durable exterior the super annealed copper 8-conductor cable will bring out even more depth in your music. Additionally, the black leather headband also comes with a white, stitch accent.
Hand-Built in Brooklyn
Grado has been building wooden headphones since 1994 and wood has been a staple material on their workbench ever since. Grado made their first headphone by hand at a kitchen table in 1953 and to this day each RS2x is handmade in Brooklyn New York
