HiFi Man Svanar flagship earphones are designed to offer reference quality sound on the move and to be incredibly comfortable wired earbuds. The brass and aluminium construction makes them perfectly balanced and durable. You can wear them for hours on end. Svanar is Swedish for swan, a bird known for its elegance, beauty and grace.
A new topology driver is used, that is inspired by famous auditoriums around the world. The cables supplied are made of silver plated crystalline copper, for low resistance and a clear sound. The frequency response extends from 5Hz to 55kHz.
Brass chamber with gold plating
Brass has important characteristics when it comes to audio. it’s resonant performance and density reinforces sonics by resonating with the music. Using two types of metal also aids with resonance. The well balanced design of the Svanar Earphones is designed not to stress the ear.
Topology driver
The topology driver refers to a diaphragm with a coating of NANO particles. These change the audio characteristics for a more even frequency response. The particles are applied in different geometric patterns, to manipulate the sound wave formation.
The sound chamber is inspired by the layout of the Moscow state theatre auditorium. This has a sunken orchestra pit along with a ceiling that diffracts sound. The earbuds cavity mimics this structure for accurate and sweet treble along with sustain-rich mid and deep and steady bass.
Why earbuds?
Earbuds are lighter and easier to use while you are on the move. The tight fit also ensures a better bass response. They also allow in outside noise which is safer if you are moving around in traffic. Headphones tend to be heavier and mask outside sounds. They are also more obtrusive.

Earbuds are normally plugged into the output socket of a portable device such as a Smartphone. However, we recommend using an external DAC/headphone amplifier which is optimised for sound quality. Many portable options are available that can connect to your smartphone and will drive these earphones effectively to get the best possible sound from the Svanar earphones.
