Description
KEF Ci130QS is a square-shaped high fidelity flush-mount speaker with an ultra thin bezel (UTB), making it ideal in custom installations. Thanks to KEF’s simple and ingenious screw down clamping system – with moisture-resistant fixings – you can place these speakers in environments such as bathrooms or under eaves.
Uni-Q Driver
KEF’s patented ’sit anywhere’ Uni-Q driver array places the tweeter in the acoustic centre of the bass/midrange cone (woofer). This allows both woofer and tweeter to act as a single, focused source of sound that is dispersed widely and evenly throughout the room. The practical benefit is that great sound can be experienced from anywhere in the listening environment removing the ‘sweet spot’ effect.
Easy to Install
KEF Ci130QS has an ultra-thin bezel for flush mounting. The loudspeaker design makes it quick and easy to install so that once the wire is run and the hole is cut in your ceiling you can be listening to music in less than two minutes.
Waveguide
KEF Ci130QS has a ‘tangerine’ waveguide with exceptionally wide dispersion characteristics that provides excellent driver protection. The forward woofer mounting is another KEF technology that eliminates diffraction and ensures we create speakers that perform brilliantly regardless of placement. A new, computer optimised trim ring offers stunning midrange clarity and a more open and natural sound across a wider area.
Special Grille
KEF Ci130QS features a powder-coated grille treated with a proprietary process, which combined with the moisture-resistant fixings and other rugged materials we use, makes the speaker corrosion resistant so it’s ideal for use in humid and salt spray conditions, such as bathrooms, near pools or beside the ocean. Complete Magnetic Circuit holds the speaker grille firmly in place.
New Mounting Leg
The new mounting leg is easy to use and distributes force evenly, benefiting fast installation without damage to the ceiling. A bayonet-shaped PCB adds rigidity to the speaker and protects the crossover. Grilles can be installed easily, even in uneven ceilings. The Gold Spring terminals accept up to 12-guage wire. Low signal loss and easy, one-handed installation.
