Description
KEF Ci160.2CL in-wall speaker features KEF’s patented Uni-Q driver array that allows sound to disperse more evenly throughout the room. The extremely shallow mounting depth allows you to install the Ci160.2CL where other speakers in its class won’t fit.
Construction
Like other CI160 speakers, the Ci160.2CL has an ultra-thin bezel enabling easy discreet fitting, asymmetrical tweeter island for wide off axis-response and a design that offers a quick and easy installation to get up and running within 2 minutes.
Ci160.2CL's ‘tangerine’ waveguide offers wide dispersion and efficient protection of the driver. To eliminate diffraction regardless of where the speaker is fitted, KEF utilises forward woofer mounting technology.
Optimisation
For stunning midrange clarity and a more open and natural sound across a wider area, a new computer optimised trim ring is used.
A powder-coated grille combined with moisture-resistant fixings and other rugged materials resists corrosion so it can be used in humid and salt spray conditions, such as bathrooms, near pools and beside the ocean.
Lastly, a Complete Magnetic circuit holds the speaker grille firmly in place.
