The KEF Ci3160RLb-THX in wall subwoofer combines a forward mounting design which eliminates distortion from diffraction effects and maximises off-axis performance, with a magnetic assembly allowing grilles to be retained by a powerful magnetic circuit for installation in seconds.
Certified to THX ULTRA2 and THX SELECT2 standards, the daunting KEF Ci3160RLb-THX aims to bring you the ultimate in Extreme Home Theatre. With deep bass and theatre thumping output, the subwoofer lives up to the expectations of a traditional KEF subwoofer and goes on to deliver all the drama and expressive intensity of full theatre sound quality.
Powder-coated grilles, moisture-resistant fixings and other special materials enable the KEF Ci Series speakers to withstand humid and salt spray conditions such as bathrooms, near pools, beside the ocean or on a yacht.
Boasting three high-output 160mm sub-bass drivers mounted to a substantial aluminium baffle, the subwoofer requires pairing with KEF’s powerful KASA500 system amplifier. Each KASA500 can power up to two of the KEF Ci3160RLb-THX subwoofers in even the most demanding theatre installations.
For theatre building flexibility, the remainder of KEF’s Extreme Theatre suite consists of two THX Ultra2 certified in-wall LCR speakers, a THX Ultra2 certified in-ceiling LCR speaker, as well as a smaller in-wall subwoofer and smaller in-wall LCR.
