The cabinet combines flowing organic forms with complementary geometries, resulting in a sculptural presence that engages the eye without appearing visually excessive. Its rounded, low-diffraction profile is not purely aesthetic; it also helps reduce unwanted acoustic reflections and supports cleaner sound dispersion around the enclosure.

A highly durable cabinet material provides exceptional rigidity while reducing the need for extensive internal bracing, helping to maximise useful acoustic volume within the compact structure. Available in Dusk Titanium, Eclipse Black and Mineral White, LS-Luxe offers three refined finishes designed to complement carefully considered interiors while maintaining a timeless, unmistakably premium identity.

Uni-Q with MAT for Immersive, Room-Filling Sound

At the heart of the KEF LS-Luxe Active Speakers (Pair) is KEF’s 12th-generation 165mm Uni-Q® driver array with Metamaterial Absorption Technology.

By positioning the tweeter at the acoustic centre of the midrange cone, Uni-Q allows the drive unit to behave more like a single coherent source, dispersing sound evenly across the room and expanding the usable listening area. This means multiple listeners can experience precise imaging, balanced tonality and exceptional detail without being restricted to one narrow sweet spot.

MAT works behind the driver to absorb up to 99 percent of unwanted rearward sound, helping to reduce distortion and coloration before they can affect the performance. The result is an expansive, natural presentation in which voices, instruments and spatial information are reproduced with remarkable focus, realism and consistency.

VECO Technology for Deep, Controlled Bass

VECO uses high-precision motion sensing to track the real-time behaviour of the bass driver, comparing its actual movement with the original audio signal. A dedicated current-drive amplifier then corrects any mismatch almost instantly, reducing distortion, compression and unwanted cone behaviour.

Because the system operates continuously, bass remains controlled and articulate across changing volume levels and demanding musical passages. Deep electronic notes gain greater definition, drums strike with convincing impact and acoustic bass instruments retain their natural texture rather than becoming heavy or blurred.

This advanced feedback approach enables LS-Luxe to produce low frequencies with authority and scale while preserving the speed, timing and clarity required for genuinely high-fidelity reproduction.

Music Integrity Engine and Bespoke Amplification

KEF’s proprietary Music Integrity Engine® acts as the digital intelligence behind the KEF LS-Luxe Active Speakers (Pair), coordinating the drivers, amplification and acoustic correction as one fully integrated system.

Specially developed DSP algorithms manage crossover behaviour, phase alignment and frequency balance, ensuring that every component works together with exceptional precision. Room EQ settings within the KEF Connect app allow listeners to adapt the speakers to their space and personal preferences, with both straightforward and advanced adjustment options available.

Each speaker combines 280 watts of Class D amplification for low frequencies with 100 watts of Class AB power for high frequencies, supporting a maximum system output of 110dB. This bespoke active architecture delivers effortless dynamics, consistent tonal character and impressive resolution whether listening quietly late at night or enjoying music at realistic, room-filling levels.

High-Resolution Streaming and Effortless Control

The KEF LS-Luxe Active Speakers (Pair) offer comprehensive wireless and wired connectivity for music, television and modern smart-home systems. KEF’s W2 wireless platform supports high-resolution audio up to 24-bit/384kHz, alongside major streaming services and protocols including Spotify, TIDAL, Qobuz, Amazon Music, AirPlay and Google Cast.

HDMI eARC enables simple integration with a television, while analogue, optical and coaxial inputs accommodate additional source equipment. Dedicated subwoofer outputs allow the system to be expanded with compatible KEF subwoofers, including wireless connection through the optional KW1 adapter.

Everyday operation is handled through the intuitive KEF Connect app or the included C3 remote, which features backlit controls and a customisable favourite button. With optional S-Luxe stands and K-Stream interspeaker cabling, the system can be tailored to both the room and the listener.
