Klipsch DS 180 CDT is a ceiling speaker designed to deliver a signature horn-loaded performance. It has a mated tractrix horn for improved dynamics and a Skyhook installation system to make fitting the speaker easy and simple.
What Is The Difference in the Klipsch Designer Series?
Klipsch’s designer series sits above the custom series with the addition of Klipsch’s Tractrix horn technology to achieve improved dynamic performance. Also included in the DS 180CDT is a one-inch Pivot Silk Dome Tweeter and an eight-inch Polypropylene woofer.
Sky Hook Installation System
The DS 180CDT has the exclusive Sky Hook Installation System that makes installation easy and simple. The dog-legs engage automatically when the speaker is inserted into the cutout hole with a preset clamping force, which eliminates the possibility of over-torquing, this reduces install time by up to 75%.

An attachable white power-coated magnetic steel grille is included for seamless and stylish integration into the living space.
