New Horns
For their new reference models, Klipsch have taken their already impressive horn technology and completely redesigned it to give you the all new Tracktrix horn, which is a 90Ëš by 90Ëš horn which deliver a more powerful and accurate sound which can emote your audio to a new level with crystal clear clarity that will blow you away.
LTS Technology Tweeters
On the R-40SA, the tweeter is designed using a 1” aluminium assembly which harnesses Klipsch’s impressive LTS (Liner Travel Suspension) to deliver a crisp, clean sound that has become revered the whole over by audiophiles and those who just want good audio in their setup.
Updated Woofers
The woofer on the R-40SA has been re-imagined to deliver a smooth as silk experience with a new TCP (Thermoformed Crystalline Polymer) spun copper 4” woofer, which when paired with tweeter and horn deliver a soundscape that is unlike what has come before from Klipsch or other brands.
Snappy Style
As ever, Klipsch have shown a keen eye for the smallest detail with the R-40SA being no exception with a black textured wood grain vinyl overlayed on a MDF cabinet to ensure it will be unintrusive in any rooms décor.
Connectivity
The R-40SA is connected up via a single gold plated binding post system which also includes jumper cables to Klipsch’s floor standing speaker range (R-600F & R-800F) to ensure the optimum setup is achieved and excellent sound production is ensured.
