Description
Klipsch RP-640D is a slim-line speaker that are designed for larger home-cinema systems; they can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the wall or placed on the table top.
They have two 3.5” Cerametallic active woofers, four 3.5” Cerametallic passive radiators and a 1” Titanium Dome Linear Travel Suspension tweeter; this design is based on the well-acclaimed Klipsch’s Reference Premiere box speakers.
Klipsch’s Reference Premier Range
The RP-640D speaker is Klipsch’s largest and highest spec’d on-wall models in the Reference Premiere On-Wall range. It has four 3.5” Cerametallic passive radiators that do not feature on the lower models, which means it’s perfect if you need more power to fill larger rooms and a more dynamic low end.

The RP-640D has two 3.5” Cerametallic Active woofers and four Cerametallic Passive Radiators. The Cerametallic design represents Klipsch’s top quality innovation and high-end development; these drivers provide exceptional rigidity to prevent against resonance, and lightweight construction for minimal cone breakup and distortion.
Tractrix Horn LTS Tweeters
The 1” tweeter uses Klipsch’s Tractrix Horn geometry, which improves high-frequency response and disperses the highs towards the listening area for the most natural sound. It’s designed with Linear Travel Suspension that maximizes the dynamics for enhanced, detailed performance.
Home Cinema Design
The RP640D speaker is designed to be positioned vertically or horizontally to suit your requirements. The long but slim design pairs nicely when placed next to the TV or around the room as surround speakers.
The Matte Black finish with gold woofer cones marry perfectly with other Reference Premiere On-Wall speakers, such as the RP-240D or the RP-440D soundbar. The RP-640D allows users to mount them almost anywhere with dual 4-Way keyholes that allow you to secure it on the wall or a glass base for tabletop mounting.
