Description
The Ekstatik is Linn’s flagship moving coil cartridge and a top of the line piece of equipment. To create a superior cartridge Linn undertook a lengthy experimentation process for choosing materials and components. The result is that the Ekstatik is now the masterpiece of Linn’s cartridge line.
Arm/Cartridge Synergy
The Linn Ekstatik sets the bar high for arm/cartridge synergy due to its unique construction that harmoniously synergises with Ekos SE. This strips away any unwanted resonance along the arm, and out through the sub chassis.
Sapphire Cantilever
Extraordinarily responsive, the Linn Ekstatik utilises a micro-ridge stylus on a sapphire cantilever. The sapphire cantilever is far stiffer than boron or aluminum which minimises loss between the stylus and the generator.
Bespoke Honeycomb Design
Linn’s preferred sweet spot of close to 7g for a cartridge body is achieved by a bespoke honeycomb design. The Linn Ekstatik is an agile and responsive cartridge that is a masterful example of the cartridges Linn can produce.
