Description
The Melco S1 Flagship Audiophile Network Data Switch is a top-end network switch used to connect digital audio equipment. This equipment can include streamers and AV receivers with an Ethernet network connector.
Your router is also connected so that it can share data. The S1 has eleven ports and a linear power supply. The main aim is to reduce noise and jitter present on standard network switches.
Eleven ports
Eleven Ethernet ports are available on the Melco S1 Flagship Audiophile Network Data Switch. Each is optimized and can have its link speed set separately. The front buttons use a colour-coded indicator to show the speed set for that port.
This method optimizes the connection to match the connected equipment accurately. Moreover, any unused port can be switched off. Additionally, the LED activity indicators on the back can be turned off.
