Description
Mission’s LX 1 MKII is a stand mount speaker that replaces the older MK1 model, it has been improved with technologies that are featured on Mission’s mid-level QX range and very successful multi award-winning ZX range. The updated MkII range also comes in stand out new finishes such as Walnut Pearl, Lux Black and Lux White.
Mission’s Trademark IDG Design
The LX 1 MKII still maintains Mission’s classic trademark ‘Inverted Driver Geometry’ design as it’s proven to produce great results across the ranges. Mission’s IDG driver design places the tweeter and the woofer positions ‘upside down’ or in other words, they’re flipped. The idea of this is to keep the high frequencies at head height.
LX1 MKII New Features
The LX1-MK II’s most prominent new feature is the advanced new driver surrounds and crossover technology that is used in the QX and ZX ranges. This technology is used to help scatter interfering reflections from localised surfaces to the dome and cone, ultimately to provide a smoother frequency response. The LX 1 Mk2 now provides the listener with better-enhanced audio and a more thrilling experience.
LX1 Mk2’s New Finish
The new finish options for the LX1 MKII follow Mission’s mantra of fusing Hi-Fi heritage with contemporary design. The new choices are Walnut Pearl, Lux Black and Lux White.
