My Sonic Lab Eminent Ex is a MC cartridge that produces a clear, natural and powerful audio playback from your turntable. It’s unique low impedance high output design creates clear and dynamic results.
Why the Eminent Ex?
My Sonic Lab’s Eminent EX model is a higher grade than the regular Eminent model. The Eminent Ex has a 0.4mv output and 0.9Ω internal impedance, whereas the Eminent model has a 0.5mv output with 1.8 Ω internal impedance. This is a pro as the aim of most MC cartridges is to achieve a maximum output from a low impedance circuit.
Complex Low Impedance Design
The Eminent Ex uses a unique core material that has higher permeability and flux density than core materials typically used in other moving coil cartridges. This delivers a natural reproduction by minimizing signal loss, internal distortion, and phase distortion.
It allows My Sonic Lab to use fewer coil windings, which results in a higher resolution, but has high output gains of 0.3mV to 0.5mV, which provides a powerful and musical playback that is natural and clear so you can greater depth from your favourite records.
