My Sonic Lab’s flagship Signature Platinum sits above the impressive MSL Signature Gold. It aims to deliver a more precise sound with a greater sense of speed and superior responsiveness.
Signature Platinum Build
The Signature Platinum’s excellent quality has been achieved by using a harder titanium high strength base (surface hardened even further by Black IP processing) together with a stiff, yet lightweight, boron cantilever. This boron cantilever offers faster energy and audio transfer that delivers a more accurate reproduction.
SH- µX Material Core
The Signature Platinum, like all MSL cartridges uses their trademark low impedance SH- µX core material that is not typically found in other moving coil cartridges. It is developed to deliver a natural reproduction by minimising signal loss, internal distortion, and phase distortion.
This technology allows for fewer coil windings to be used, which minimises music robbing distortions and maximises signal output. Ultimately, natural details and new layers of information can be heard in your favourite records.
