The SPU #1 S uses a spherical stylus, crafted from high purity copper for the armature windings and terminal leads, housed within a grinded wood and resin composite case. All the SPU series cartridges are really good value for money, having an excellent price-to-performance ratio. The perfect all-rounders for the newcomers to the SPU world.
Compatibility
The SPU #1 range have a universal connector, giving them the versatility to be mounted on a wide range of tonearms, that have a universal SME mount, such as the Ortofon TA-110 or TA-210 tonearms. For a top quality audio experience with your turntable, combine the SPU #1, with a ST-7 Moving Coil transformer and a top quality tonearms (TA-110 or TA-210) and you will not be disappointed.
