The Pro-Ject Align It DS3 tool is a simple but incredibly effective alignment tool for your cartridge with all the information you need on the tool meaning you can’t go wrong – allowing you to maximise your turntable.
You can choose one of the 3 most popular alignment options printed on the Align it DS3. Each option has different advantages:
Baerwald
The Freddie Flintoff of alignment – a great all-rounder. It optimises tracking of the inner and outer groove whilst retaining a focus on the middle, making it a great choice for all.
Löfgren B
This mode delivers tracking arrow straight in the middle of your vinyl, giving the lowest average distortion and is perfect for the more modern piece of vinyl where all the important data is contained in the centre of the groove.
Stevenson
Designed to track at the very start and end of the record by pulling towards the outer and then inner walls of the vinyl, making this perfect for those long plays and 45 RPM singles.
Align it DS3 is suitable for all Pro-Ject turntables and many other manufacturers' turntables and tonearms depending on their pivot to spindle distance.
