Description
PS Audio AC5 mains cable provides the clearest possible path for AC power to your hi-fi and/or AV system when connected either directly to the wall or ideally via one of PS Audio's power plant regenerators. The AC5 is a low impedance cable that provides low noise levels for a pure power supply.
In many ways, AC5 is the best value power cable that PS Audio have created in the last 10 years. Its a 10 gauge cable constructed with high purity Linear Crystal Copper and multiple gauges and conductors in different shapes for each end of the frequency spectrum.
Like PS Audio's other mains cables, this also features top entry mains plug for ease of connection to the back of any PS Audio power plant.
Why do I need a power mains cable?
Simply put it, your hifi equipment needs electric power to deliver great high fidelity audio. The problem is, that a lot of other components in the home require the same electric power that your hifi system is using to live. Fridges, computers, TV's, and lights just to name a few. The problem is that these components can drain the electric current and create distortion unwanted electronic noise. What a power mains cable does is improve the sound quality from the mains so your equipment can perform to it's maximum potential.
