QED Reference Hi Res USB (A-B) Cable
You can earn loyalty points on every order you place on this website. If you select to create an account at checkout, your loyalty points will be saved and you can use these to discount future orders online.
Each product page shows you how many loyalty points you can earn when you order that item. Essentially, for each £1 you spend, you earn 1 loyalty point and for every 1 point earned, 1p will be added to your loyalty point balance (this is the same as some of the UK's biggest loyalty point cards). So for example, if you spend £500, you'll earn 500 loyalty points which can be used to discount a future order by £5.00.

Description
QED Reference Hi-Res USB (A-B) cable has been improved upon to deliver greater accuracy, flexibility and compatibility when transmitting HD digital audio between USB audio components like computers, storage devices or high performance DACs with ultra low jitter.
The Reference USB AB features complete high-resolution audio compatibility, including 32bit, DSD and MQA technology, QED’s Clear Path Audio technology to isolate the power and data lanes within the cable, and improved Impedance Controlled Data Lanes for low-jitter and timing errors.
Ferrite Jacket
QED’s Reference USB features a floating ferrite jacket, which exhibits 50% less jitter than competitor cables that don't have a ferrite jacket. In listening tests, the Reference cable with the ferrite jacket was preferred to samples without the jacket.
Impedance Controlled Data Lane
The USB cable has a 99.9% oxygen-free copper twisted-pair featuring low-permittivity, foamed-polyethylene dielectrics, which is bound by an aluminium/mylar wrap; this design is similar to that used in QED’s high performance HDMI cables. The impedance of the data lane is kept strictly within defined limits, which allows it to exceed the specification given in the USB 2.0 standard by more than half; that results improves the timing error or jitter added to the isochronous data stream is kept to a minimum.
Clean Path Audio Technology
The QED Reference data lanes are uniquely electrically isolated by using a double layer shield comprising a 100% aluminium/mylar wrap and shield braid connected to ground.
