Description
The Sumiko Blue Point No.3 MC Phono Cartridge comes in two versions, high-output and low-output. The Blue Point No3 is a slightly modified version of the Blue Point No.2, retaining all of the practicality and pleasure of use as its predecessor.
Announced alongside the release of the Celebration 40, the Blue Point No.3 is another tribute to Sumiko’s 40 year pursuit to enhance the listeners experience.
Refined Resonance
Sumiko has successfully re-imagined the housing design of the Blue Point No.3 in order to improve resonance.
Vintage Smoothness
Designed to echo the sonic presentation of vintage Shure and Stanton MM’s, the Blue Point No.3 MC generator delivers a superior, enhanced smoothness paired with the Sumiko MC delicacy that the cartridges are well known for. Bass lovers are gifted with a low-end frequency response that is irresistably polished, smooth, yet warm and textured. The listener can anticipate the same feel to the mid frequencies, while high-ends are presented as airy and pleasant with no loss in clarity.
Upgraded Low-Output Variant
The Blue Point No.3 Low variant features all of the listenability and enjoyment of the Blue Point No.3 with the added benefit of superb low-end imaging and depth expected of a Low-Output design.
