SVS SB-1000 Pro Subwoofer is an improved ‘Pro’ version of SVS’ SB-1000 sub. The SB1000 Pro provides a more powerful and musical bass performance from a compact 13-inch enclosure with state-of-the-art features that are perfect for both audiophiles and home theatre fans.
Pro Version
The SB-1000 Pro has a reimagined 12-inch high-excursion driver to take control of a room with an improved control and low-end accuracy for a more immersive performance. It also features technology taken from SVS’ flagship 16-Ultra Series.
Reference Amp Technology
Taken from SVS’ flagship 16-Ultra Series, a 50 MHz Analog Devices Audio DSP with the frequency response precisely tuned is used to harness the huge power and ensure tonal accuracy and driver control.
12’ Driver
SVS used multiple innovations for the high-excursion 12-inch driver to achieve a massive sub performance, considering it’s small construction. There are advances to the cone, surround, voice coil and motor assembly that improve the SPL at the lowest frequencies.
- A fibre composite cone provides a stiffness-to-mass ratio that moves huge amounts of air.
- A proprietary injection-moulded extreme-excursion surround delivers a flawless pistonic motion for pinpoint control without distortion, even at the highest drive levels.
- A Dual ferrite magnet motor assembly with an extended aluminium polepiece is used for a subtle and over-the-top bass thrill.
- The Powder coated FEA optimised driver basket achieves maximum rigidity, tensile strength, and thermal energy transference.
- Dual layer voice coil design enhances linearity and fidelity at full excursion while minimising distortion and power compression.
App Control
The SB-1000 Pro can be controlled by a smartphone app. You can control the volume, program custom presets, adjust EQ and room gain and access multiple DSP functions all from the comfort of your chair.
Rear Panel Control
A rear-panel control interface provides control options and connections such as a Level Control, Low pass filter, Phase control and a USB port that provides power for SVS’ optional SoundPath Wireless Audio Adapter, which is designed to avoid the need for a cable runs to the subwoofer.
