Description
Thorens’ TAS 1600 is a newly developed Japanese-made low output MC phono cartridge that is specially developed for the Thorens’ TD 1600 and TD 1601 turntables.
Phono Compatibility
The TAS1600 output voltage is 0.4 millivolts at 5.5 cm/s, which is a sufficient level to harmonize with most common phono preamplifiers.
TAS1600 Diamond design
The TAS1600 cartridge has a line contact, diamond stylus that's attached to a boron cantilever. This design delivers every last musical note captured from the record groove. It has an internal resistance of 12 ohms, which feels in good hands at a terminating resistor of> 100 ohms.
