Description
The Groove Plus SRX MkII is given its name by the fact that it features a super resolution "SR" front end and adjustable loading "X" board, and has been described as on the best phono stages in the world. The Groove Plus SRX is the result of over 10 years of research. This included developing Lithos voltage regulation, which is 3 times faster, 1000 times quieter, and 5 decimal places more accurate than the "best" previous regulators.
The Plus SRX MkII is a dual mono design, with very low noise I/Cs, passive RIAA EQ circuit, an ultra linear gain amplifier; around which is an active lower frequency filter to roll off subsonics. The fourth stage is the super resolution output stage which lifts performance above what was possible from lower groove models.
