Here at Audio Affair we are constantly evolving our product range, we are always on the look out for new kit, there are a couple of key reasons behind this: Hi-Fi and technology is a passion for all of us here, new technology is a constant source of excitement and being a modern and customer focused  retailer our aim is to source the best of the best and bring it to you!

British Hi-Fi has always been a world standard, synonymous with high quality engineering and sound  - I personally started my journey into Hi-Fi under the wing of British manufactures, my first "proper" Hi-Fi consisted of a QUAD  303, 34 Pre and Bowers and Wilkins loudspeakers, later to be replaced by the irreplaceable ESL 57!  The British sound as it is sometimes described is sought universally, the export market for British brands arguably matches UK sales for some manufacturers if not exceeding

Certain speakers we sell mean I get a holiday, namely Acapella. When I say holiday, I may be slightly overstating things, but I get a trip away with them. Due to the sheer size and value, conventional couriers will not touch them, not even in the UK! They also require careful handling and setting up. This time I travelled with a pair of Acapella Violon MKVI – featuring Horn loaded mid range and Plasma Tweeters, a true audiophile reference speaker.

Our doors opened at 9am sharp for the first viewings by the public on our newly refurbished Faithful Audio demonstration room. We had a total of 12 systems available to demonstrate with Hifi, streaming and speakers from Naim Audio, stereo and pre amp/power amp combinations from Heed Audio, Musical Fidelity's M6i cd & amplifier, along with 5.1 home cinema courtesy of Anthem receivers along with KEF R & T series.

So every Friday from  4th May 2012, Audio affair will be hosting a weekly #HiFiTechChat hour between 1pm to 2pm (GMT). Anyone can participate this event with their HiFi related issues or just looking for a geek to geek discussion.
